David M. Johnson, RPA
David is a 1971 graduate of the University of California,
Berkeley, with a B.A. Degree in Physics. He began his career in adjusting and
investigating shortly after graduation from Berkeley. He formed Eaton & Johnson,
Inc. with Mr. Eaton in 1982.
David's areas of expertise are investigation and adjustment of casualty claims,
construction defects, coverage questions, criminal defense investigation, errors
& omissions, garagekeepers' liability, personal injury (assault, battery, false
arrest, libel, slander, etc.), product liability, fraud, arson, and subrogation.
David is experienced in Alternative Dispute Resolution methods.
He is available as an expert witness concerning claims handling issues.
David is particularly interested in computer assembly, programming, applications
and networking. His other personal interests are in photography, video,
watercraft, and scuba diving.
David holds personal licenses in the State of California as an insurance adjuster and as a private investigator. He is a member of the California Association of Licensed Investigators, the California Association of Independent Insurance Adjusters, the National Association of Independent Insurance Adjusters, and the Property Claims Association of the Pacific.
Thad E. Eaton, RPA
Thad is a 1975 graduate of California State Polytechnic
University, San Luis Obispo, with a B.S. in Business Administration. He began
his career in adjusting and investigating shortly after graduation from Cal
Poly. He formed Eaton & Johnson, Inc. with Mr. Johnson in 1982.
Thad's areas of expertise are investigation and adjustment of property and
casualty claims, coverage questions, automobile liability, burglary, robbery,
theft & mysterious disappearance, fire legal liability and property damage,
inland marine, product liability, personal injury (assault, battery, false
arrest, libel, slander, etc.), fraud, arson, and subrogation.
Thad is experienced in Alternative Dispute Resolution methods.
He is available as an expert witness concerning claims handling issues.
Thad is particularly interested in computer applications. His other personal
interests are in music and photography. He is a member of the California
Association of Independent Insurance Adjusters, the National Association of
Independent Insurance Adjusters, and the Property Claims Association of the
Pacific. Thad is past president of the
Property Claims Association of the Pacific, 1996 Co-Chair of the Claims
Conference of Northern California, a frequent speaker at that conference
including September 2004, a 1995 - 1997 member of the Board of Directors of the
California Association of Independent Insurance Adjusters, and current member of
the Board. He holds personal licenses in the State of California as an insurance
adjuster and as a private investigator.
